Trip to Arizona:

SHORT, SWEET AND STILL SAVORING

Once I saw Peter Lik’s Antelope Canyon photographs I knew one thing for sure: I had to go see it for myself! The good thing about going to see Antelope Canyon, besides the fact that it’s as spectacular as you’d expect, is that there’s a lot to see in conjunction with this canyon. We only had 4 nights total for this trip and it was great. Of course if we had more time we could have explored the area more, but we got to see plenty! We flew into Las Vegas on a Thursday night, slept there and started our drive to Arizona the following morning. The drive took us through a winding road that kept changing through Utah and Arizona. The drive is part of the experience on this trip. We spent 2 nights at the Amangiri which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The property is incredible with so much to explore right on property, and the spa is amazing! We then drove to the Grand Canyon, which if you haven’t seen it, plan this trip as soon as you can-! We then drove back to Vegas, through a different route, and were able to drive for a bit on Route 66. We took the red eye back, and were home by Tuesday morning. It was a short trip but we got to experience so much natural beauty.
